A pretty straight forward piece, yet the inclusion of elements such as the skulls and parts of faces adds a bit of mystery. I loved the blue and purple color palette and was aiming to achieve more smooth watercolor washes.

This abstract pen drawing was created by making some random scribbling marks on the paper, with no clear idea in mind. After looking at the marks made on the paper I began to see an image of ruins and a great bridge. I fleshed out the idea I now saw and added abstract pen elements as a border to the piece.
